Audiovisual production

The National Fund for Audiovisual Production (Fonspa), established in 1990, is Luxembourg's public institution for supporting the production, co-production and distribution of creations produced in Luxembourg. It operates under the joint supervision of the Ministers responsible for the audiovisual sector and culture, and implements the government's overall policy of support for audiovisual production. In particular, it is responsible for managing selective financial aid (AFS), European initiatives such as Eurimages, and all other operations in the field of audiovisual production support, such as promotion, co-production agreements and certificates of nationality for creations .

The government continues to actively support the audiovisual production sector, taking into account new forms of content production.
